BECOME A GUERRILLA

We are a mission-driven company that is inclusive, diverse, and innovative and reflect the values of those we serve

We are open to all progressive ideas and perspectives

We create work that moves people and ideas forward

We believe that design can help build a better democracy

We work with integrity and purpose

We’re all about people.
We’re smarty-pants political wonks and also real people who want to change the world. Whisky-lovers, metalheads, grassroots activists, and moms. In the office, we talk politics (SCOTUS decisions, hello?!) and what everyone is watching on Netflix. We like working together, and we’re always looking for people who want to make a real, tangible social impact.

Benefits
We are a hybrid office, meaning you can work from home when you want but can come to the office if you’re sick of seeing yourself on Zoom or just need to see other humans in person. Our pay is competitive and fair with unlimited time off. So, take it when you need it. We also offer professional development opportunities and potential start-up benefits like client referral bonuses. We help you with health care reimbursement plans that make things more affordable because until universal health care is a thing, we need to take care of one another.

Creative Operations Coordinator

Metro Detroit-based preferred
Full-time | Start date: August/September 2025

Reports to: Creative Strategist (Idea39), with oversight from Founder/CCO

The Role

We’re hiring a Creative Operations Coordinator, a hybrid of administrative powerhouse and project traffic manager, who can keep our work moving, clients updated, and internal systems humming. This person will be the connective tissue between the creative team and our clients. You help everyone stay organized, informed, and on track.

You’ll collaborate directly with our Creative Strategists and Creative Director to manage timelines, schedules, and project flow.

Key Responsibilities

Client Coordination (Light Touch)

  • Schedule client meetings, confirm attendance, and follow up as needed

  • Take clean, digestible notes and send meeting recaps

  • Coordinate scheduling with vendors for interviews, shoots, etc.

Project Trafficking

  • Maintain and update Monday.com boards with deadlines, feedback, and status

  • Input internal assignments and changes

  • Track task progress and flag issues or delays with clear summaries

Internal Support

  • Collaborate with and support the Creative Strategist and creative team as a whole

  • Organize and maintain Google Drive folders per our system

  • Help streamline deliverables from concept to client-ready

What We’re Looking For

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Is organized but flexible, you love structure, but you know how to pivot

  • Writes and communicates clearly

  • Thinks ahead, you anticipate needs before they become problems

  • Thrives in smaller, non-corporate environments where collaboration is key

  • Isn’t afraid of tech—you’ve worked with tools like Monday.com, G-Suite, or similar

  • Enjoys being the glue of a project, holding it together behind the scenes

  • Has a servant leader and growth mindset, willing to work with everyone to get projects done

Not the Right Fit If You…

  • Need rigid structure or old-school corporate environments to succeed

  • Prefer to work solo without interacting with teams

  • Tend to overthink small tasks or overcomplicate systems

  • Struggle with consistent follow-through or attention to detail

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 2–4 years in a creative agency, nonprofit communications, or client service role

  • Project coordination, traffic, or admin experience highly valued

  • Experience with Google Suite, Monday.com, Asana, Trello, or other PM tools

  • Writing and editing skills are a major plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $48,000–$55,000, depending on experience

  • Health benefits, generous PTO, flexible hours, 401k

  • Mentorship and growth opportunities within our close-knit team

  • Opportunity to grow into a more senior PM or strategy role over time

Send your resume, a brief note introducing yourself, and a sample of any relevant work (project coordination doc, recap email, etc.) to the form below. Bonus if you tell us what tool you swear by for staying organized!
